Laurel, from Trophy Boutique, shares her fun and unique style with one of her favorite pairs of high waist jeans, a pair of Silence & Noise high rise flare jeans.
High waist jeans are back and they're giving us all the freedom to kneel without fear.
For the past decade, we've been trained to pull our jeans up and our shirt down every time we tie our shoes. Now, with the return of high rise jeans, we can finally lace-up without hesitation.
All jokes aside, high waisted jeans have made their return along with other remnants from the great 70s fashion era; we're seeing wide leg jeans and flare leg jeans, tucked in shirts and lovely high rise jeans.
Not only do high rise jeans make a great fashion statement, they can be very flattering, too.
Especially for women who are apple shaped or built more straight up and down because the higher rise tends to nip in a not so narrow waist and it does it at the perfect placethe natural waistline, where a woman's waist is the thinnest.
The best way to show off that thin waistline is to tuck your shirt into your high waist jeans.
Just think, no more muffin-top, ladies!
And, while you're at it, you should rock your favorite platform heels, too, because high rise jeans do more than accentuate that slim waist, they also make your legs appear to go on for miles!
And, who can complain about that? A pair of jeans that gives you freedom to tie your shoes with both hands and makes you look thinner and taller?
Yeah, we're pretty excited, too.
